The Bail Process

The Bail Bond Process

Once someone has been arrested they are generally taken to a station for booking and processing. Here they will be fingerprinted, photographed, checked for outstanding warrants, stripped of all their personal possessions and placed in a cell where they may or may not have access to a telephone. Most jails allow the defendant the opportunity to place a call before being placed in the cell.

Once you have been processed and booked, you will receive a bail amount (the dollar amount varies based on the alleged offense involved and other contributing factors). It’s the courts way of making sure the defendant appears at their scheduled court dates, once released from jail.

  • We walk you through what is a bail bond.
  • We work with your individual financial situation.
  • We collect a fee which is typically 8% or 10% of the full bail bond amount.
